Jean Miotte is one of the last artists still alive of the group INFORMEL. In 2001 he received together with other artists the request from a group of banks to create an artwork for the introduction of the Euro on January 1st, 2002. All the artworks have been exhibited in different banks. Based on this idea we asked Jean Miotte in 2005 to create a series of original artworks, which were shown as a collection under the theme of "MIOTTE MONEY". All the artworks represent various signs of currencies and are part of our collection. Here you can see the series of the "little formats". A catalogue of all the works of this collection has been issued and can be ordered against payment to cover the costs. |
