The exhibition of Arman in the gallery Iris Clerc in Paris was a counterpoint to the exhibition of Yves Klein, called “LE VIDE” at the same gallery in 1958. Arman filled the gallery with garbage so that it was not possible to enter the gallery and as a result he provoked a traffic chaos around the place.
