	The Iron Curtain, 1962 Wall of Oil Drums Rue Visconti, Paris Signed photo 10.04" x 8.15" Project of the wall of oil drums. On June 27, 1962 Christo and Jeanne-Claude closed a narrow street, Rue Visconti in Paris, for eight hours with a wall of 89 oil barrels. This art barricade was amongst others a protest against the Berlin Wall which had been built in August 1961.
